Guys.

Guys. Guys. Yoon-Suin hardback, how can this happen? Is Lulu not able to print hardback at that size? I want to keep this book around for a long time.

  1. I wanted to keep the price affordable is the main reason. Also, let's face it, I'm not sure the layout and formatting is deserving of hardback treatment!

  2. David McGrogan On the one hand this is a fair and reasonable response. On the other hand this seems like the perfect opportunity for a kickstarter Yoon Suin 2e with improved layout and formatting, sewn binding, and even more art...

  3. It's deserving. And how much would it cost on Lulu or whatever PoD to have a hardback? Like $40? I'm down.

  4. Lulu hardcovers are garbage quality. If you’re going hardcover, you’d be better off kickstarting it to do a proper digital print run.

  5. "A crap book in the hand is worth two dope books in the kickstarter" as the old saying goes. I'm just saying, if there's a switch on the Lulu settings that says, "Yeah offer this thing in craptastic PoD hardbound" I'd still grab it.

  6. I'll see what can be arranged. It also might not be possible to do a hardback in the horizontal page layout.
