Ran my first session of Knave last night, using my version of Yoon-Suin as the Setting.
Ran my first session of Knave last night, using my version of Yoon-Suin as the Setting. We started with Character Creation, following the format found in the rules booklet, and adding the Alternative Character Generation System from the Hill Cantons Compendium to spice up their backstories. We also used random name generators i created for a couple of the languages found in the setting. Here's what we came up with:

-Eéleriach, the first child of his family whom belonged to a traveling merchant caravan, and survivor of a magical sickness. He's a greedy and corrupt foreign mercenary, who happened upon bad luck after being involved in a failed coup d'etat of the Upper Council of the Yellow City. After which he found himself in the Village of Kiln, in The Mountains of the Moon.
-Apilito-Lolpaka-Kaei-Peshi: The second child of of a sailor and fisherman, turned pirate after being adopted by the crew of the "Buenafe" (The Pretty Flower). Whom he sailed with until recently when the Orange Fleet was sunk along with the "Buenafe" in the Harbors of Yoon Suin, during a failed coup d'etat. He washed upon shore where he quickly decided to become "recovered" a cart loaded with lumber, and pulled by a Yak whom he named Bloo. Whom he drove into the mountains fearing his life. along the way he met "Beom -Eito-Ren" whom paid him 10 copper to take him as far away from the yellow city, as he was willing to travel. They made it to the village of Kiln, where they stopped outside of the "Lonely Whore" after it suddenly began to snow.
-Jedda-Sen-Tau: The seventh child of a farmer and scribe, whom was sold into slavery by his parents after accidentally killing his great aunt while messing with magic. During transport he escaped, running to the village of Kiln. Where he was hired to protect the village and enforce it's laws.
-Beom -Eito-Ren: The third child to a semi-affluent household of clergy and scholars. Growing up in the shadow of his elder sisters, Beom received a vision of a briny-green river dolphin ending its own life, and being reborn a mortal man to Clean the world of sicknesses and disease. He saw that he could commune with this strange being by taking life especially that of Men. Beom grew up attempting to tell other of his revelations, slowly gaining disfavor with his family. He slowly began to rack up debt, leading him to resort to theft. he eventually found himself buried in debt and doubting his god. Luckily word had spread among the upper ranks of the Yellow City that a coup d'etat was in the work. With the help of his debtor, Beom was hired to work as a spotter for the "Cannoner's Guild". Taking this as and opportunity to gain favor with his god, he offered all those who died that night up. He woke the next day with none of his prayers answered and instantly lost faith. Feeling gloomy he decided to leave the city, and bought safe passage to the Mountains with a boy named "Apilito-Lolpaka-Kaei-Peshi". They made it to the village of Kiln, where they stopped outside of the "Lonely Whore" after it suddenly began to snow.
Episode 1, Cabin Fever Part 1: Our story began in the South of Yoon-Suin. In the upper reaches of "Ang Bundok ng Buwan" (The Mountains Of The Moon) as their known in Palbati, the language of the locals. Our players met in the reclaimed Village of Kiln in the hap-hazardously put together Tea Shop known as the "Lonely Whore" During which the weather suddenly turned and began to snow, they quickly found shelter and proceeded to fall asleep, only to wake up and discover they were trapped and forced to wait out winter in the village. Over the next two months the lost 5 villagers, 3 yak, and recovered wood from the village buildings, Came across steppe wolf tracks, Killed a Yak bull and managed to coax the rest of the herd into an abandon building in the village.
